Icare for monitoring disabled children: some parents share their impressions of Icare with us...

We are farmers and we have a 6-year old child with Down’s syndrome. When he leaves the house, he is unable to find his way home. Recently, in the daytime, he ran off to the forest and we were able to find him quickly thanks to the Icare transmitter he was wearing.

Icare offers our son a form of supervised independence.

For example, during village fetes, Icare means that we don’t have to hold his hand all the time.

Icare really helps us to teach him how to be independent.

We are the parents of an 8-year old autistic child who has a tendency to take off on his own without ever saying anything to anyone. We live in the countryside.

We are very satisfied with Icare. This system is perfect and really helps us to monitor our child.

Mr CLABAUT

Our son is hyperactive and is not aware of danger. He is 9 years old, but he has a mental age of 3 years. He does not know how to get back to the place he started out from on his own. During the last holidays, we were able to let him cycle around the campsite and play with the other children at the park which was 300 metres from our mobile-home.

Icare offers us peace of mind since we always know where he is. At last, we can let him play on his own and feel certain that he is safe.
